My Background

I hold a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from California State University, Stanislaus and a Master of Public Health in Global Health from Boston University. My clinical experience includes prenatal and infertility, neurology, cardiology, and general genetics. I trained and worked in both academic and clinical environments, gaining a wide perspective on how genetic information can meaningfully shape care across all stages of life.

My approach combines scientific expertise with a public health perspective, focused on making genetic information clear, practical, and accessible. I believe care should meet people where they are and support informed, actionable decisions.

My interest in genetics began when I learned that hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT) runs in my family. This experience shaped how I approach counseling with empathy and understanding.

I’m based in Oakland, California.
